IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE!

  • PLEASE READ ALL OF THE POLICIES PAGE BEFORE ORDERING. ESPECIALLY THE PART ABOUT NOT SENDING ANY OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT BESIDES A UNITED STATES POSTAL MONEY ORDER **ONLY**!! ALL CHECKS AND OTHER TYPES OF MONEY ORDERS WILL BE RETURNED AND A $2.50 CHARGE WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR TOTAL.

  • NEW POLICY AS OF AUGUST 1, 2007: If you are not already on my Yahoo group list, and you want to place an order, I am now asking that you join this group. This group is where I post updates such as progress reports as to which month of commissions I'm now working on, policy changes, when books are open for a new month, etc. It saves me an enormous amount of time if I don't have to answer several emails from customers asking "how their model is coming along". You can check this group to find out where I am in my schedule instead of having to email me. Therefore on all new orders I will ask that you join the group when you submit your order form and send your "slot hold" deposit. Thank you for your cooperation. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ansata/

  • An order form MUST be included with your deposit and model. Click here for Order Form
  • Upon completion of the form, just hit the "submit" button and I will automatically receive the form via email. There is no need to snail mail the form with Pay Pal payments. However, if mailing a money order, it would be good to mail a copy of the form with the payment. You may want to print a copy for your own records. I will not start the model until I have an order form!
  • If for what ever reason you are unable to provide an order form with your order a $5.00 handling fee applies due to the time it takes me to go back over emails to find any details I need.

  • Please read the Policies page for other important information.

**I thank you very much for helping me out here and including your order form.

**TO ORDER - PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A $100 deposit is required to hold/book your slot. One month later a second payment of $100 is due. Another month later a third payment of $100 will be due. The balance paid when model is finished, or all most finished. (I do my own prepping.) Shipping will be figured at time of completion of model, when it is packed and weighed.

TRADITIONAL MODEL PRICE LIST
IS CURRENT AS OF FEBRURAY 20, 2010.

(Prices subject to change without notice.)
(Customer provides model)

Basics

  • Basic Solid Color paint job, most adult models: $225
  • Traditional foals - at this time I am not doing foals. Should I agree to a particular foal, it would be at the adult price.
  • Mohair mane & tail: $75 (mixed color m/t add $5.00)
  • Braided mane & tail: I AM NO LONGER DOING BRAIDED M/T.
  • Painted sculpted mane & tail that require shading as on a grey or chestnut add $15
  • Models with extra heavy mane or tail that require extra resculpting after removal - such as entire neck, shoulder, face, leg: $20 & up.

Resculpting/Repositioning

  • Change gender: stallion to mare, or mare to stallion $15; stallion to gelding or gelding to stallion $10
  • Reposition ears: $40 per ear
    • I NO LONGER DO MAJOR REPOSITIONING, JUST MINOR MODIFICATIONS SUCH AS EAR. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO DO MAJOR REPOSITIONING.

Dapples

  • Dapples: $40 extra on dapple bays/chestnuts/palominos/buckskins.
  • Dapple Greys: $50 extra.
  • Dark dapple greys: $60 extra

Pinto/Appaloosa Patterns

  • Minimal Pinto or Appaloosa pattern: $45 (Sabino markings/high whites over knees/hocks is also considered minimal pinto pattern).
  • Medium Pinto or Appaloosa pattern: $75
  • Extensive Pinto or Appaloosa pattern: $100
  • Super Extensive: $125
  • As I do not feel I am good at them, I will NOT be doing rabicano patterns.

Other Extras

  • Strip acrylic paint: $45 - please inquire on this, as I will no longer strip some models, but will ask you to do it before sending model. I will tell you how.
  • Repair broken legs, most models: $50 per leg/per break on bare resin. Painted resins, inquire for price.
  • Normal "prepping" is $50. Prepping rates will go up from there. For example, a home cast Eberl resin is $85. Most models will be somewhere in between those figures. Rose and Williams resins, for example, are well cast, and only require normal minimal prepping. Some Williams cast resins come cast for hair. These may not even be as high as $50. (I do NOT accept "old mold" Breyers. I DO NOT WORK ON "OLD MOLD" BREYERS)
  • Oversize resins (i.e. Eberl Sharif), will incur $20 extra charge.
  • Rush Charge: $80 for models with a completion deadline of less than 12 weeks from time I receive the body. Full payment is required up front on rush orders!
  • Metal horse shoes are now optional: $20 (so now be sure you tell me if you want them).
  • I only do Traditional size models. I do NOT do stablemate size models. And until further notice I will not be doing classic size models. Should I agree to do a certain "classic" size model, it will be the same pricing as a "traditional" size.

I will again do repairs, minimal repair/touch-up charge $100. Hair only or Rehairing $125.

  • Photos: For those who want a photo emailed before it is posted on the "What's New" page, there will now be a $5.00 fee per photo. Most customers, after they have received the model, exclaim, "it's so much better in person!" This is the first reason I prefer not to email a photo before the customer has the model in hand. The second is that it takes more time to size, edit, upload and email individual photos, rather than doing them in batches when I'm ready to post on What's New. However if you still what a photo emailed, the $5.00 fee will apply. Please put this on your order form so that I know ahead of time that you want this. Thanks.
  • Even though my work is guaranteed, I cannot guarantee a color unless I have been provided with a hard copy photo. If you have not given me a photo and just request a "chestnut", or a "light dapple grey", for example, and then you do not like the shade when finished, there will be a charge to modify the color - if possible. Airbrushing on top of an already finished model causes the finish not to be as durable, meaning the finish will scratch easily. So keep this in mind. I may or may not modify an unguaranteed model, depending on the particulars.

Please use this Order Form to order your model. Upon completion of the form, copy and paste it into an email to me. (The "submit" button on the form no longer works.) There is no need to snail mail the form with Pay Pal payments. However, if mailing a money order, it would be good to mail a copy of the form with the payment. You may want to print a copy for your own records. Please Email at: elegantzebra@sbcglobal.net for correct snail mail address.
The order form MUST be included with your deposit or payment.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW TO FIGURE WHAT THE PRICE OF YOUR NEW CUSTOM WILL BE:

Basic Traditional Model = $225, plus $80 mixed color mohair mane & tail, plus dapple grey $50 = $350

Shipping, handling & insurance: Shipping can no longer be a flat rate since the PO went way high on their rates. I now have to treat domestic packages like internationl. Meaning I have to weigh & measure the package and key in info with zip code on USPS website to get your shipping price. The following are only estimates.

  • $30 for one plastic model, no insurance.
  • Resin model, $40, no insurance.
  • For insurance rate let me know how much you want it insured for.
  • International, inquire for rate.
